Did Daemon Abandon His Daughters in House of the Dragon?
No, it does not appear that Daemon abandons his daughters in House of the Dragon. One scene in particular has one of his daughters waking one of Rhaenyra’s sons, exclaiming that someone has taken Vhagar—the same dragon that Laena commanded to kill her with dragon fire. Furthermore, George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, the source material House of the Dragon is based on, states that Daemon Targaryen did in fact return to Westeros with his children, and more. We’ll avoid spoilers for now, but episode 7 of House of the Dragon is shaping up to be an interesting one for sure. So, no, Daemon did not abandon his daughters in House of the Dragon.
