This would be the definitive appearance of the Samsung Galaxy S9
The closer we get to January 2019, the more rumours and speculation about the next “flagship” of the South Korean multinational company Samsung are arriving. According to very well-founded rumours, the company would advance the date of presentation of its next flagship smartphone by a couple of months before even its usual Unpacked event. This does nothing but generates “hype” around the launch and, now, a video that continues to feed this expectation. The renowned OnLeaks filtering handler has recently created a video that shows what the final design of the Galaxy S9 would be like. This does nothing more than finish confirming some rumours that are being generated, such as, for example, that the Samsung Galaxy S9 will keep the 3.5 mm headphone jack, as well as the button to invoke the virtual assistant Bixby.
In addition, they also reveal the dimensions that will have the next “beast” of the South Korean multinational company Samsung: 147.6 x 68.7 x 8.4 mm, with a screen whose diagonal would be around 5.65 inches. Another point to consider is that the “infinite screen” of the smartphone, which was presumed to continue reducing the frames of its panel, would not be such and we would still have a design very similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy S8. This is because the reduction of the lower margin of the screen would be just 0.1 millimetres smaller. Another of the sections that are also generating expectation is the decision of the manufacturer to relocate the rear fingerprint reader. Recall that the position would be on next to the back camera of the Galaxy S8 which brought with it many criticisms. However, the South Korean multinational company Samsung took note and now aims to locate the fingerprint reader under the dual camera with the vertical orientation of the smartphone. And, regarding the photographic section, several sources indicate that the company would offer the dual camera only for the Plus version, leaving the Galaxy S9 with an individual photographic sensor. Finally, regarding the technical specifications, it is said that the South Korean flagship would arrive at the stores with a state-of-the-art processor (the Snapdragon 845 or the Exynos 9810, depending on the market), 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, including Android 8.0 Oreo from the day of its release.
