Rebecca Edgerunners Cyberpunk 2077 Build
Rebecca is surely one of the most entertaining characters in Edgerunners with her fun, slightly maniacal personality. Still, as a cyberpunk, make no mistake that she’s a gun-toting badass, too, and so we’re obviously going to be focusing here on a very weapon-centric build. We want to make sure Rebecca can handle any weapon type in the game, though we’ll be leaning into shotguns heavily since the 1.6 update actually added Rebecca’s GUTS Shotgun to the game. You can read our detailed guide on where to obtain it here. Before we get into the specifics of the build, if you’re playing on PC it’s worth noting that modders have actually put together some pretty awesome cosmetic mods to really take your build to the next level. You can get Rebecca’s pistols, Rebecca’s tattoos, and Rebecca’s hairstyle and eyes to name a few.
Cyberware
You want to focus your implants on giving Rebecca more ability to tank damage since she’s always going to be right in the heat of close-quarters firefights.
Heal on Kill – Instantly restores 10% health after defeating an enemySecond Heart – Instantly restores 100% of health after health reaches 0Bioconductor – Reduces all cyberware cooldowns by 30%
As was the case for our Lucy build, make sure you get these two cyberwares to really increase Rebecca’s movement:
Kerenzikov – Allows you to more quickly slide and dodge while slowing down time. The Ripper Doc Arroyo sells them in Santa Domingo for $7,500.Maneuvering System – Add in a Maneuvering System to enhance the effects of the Kerenzikov. The Ripper Doc Arroyo sells them in Santa Domingo for $3,000.
We also recommend going for a Beserk since it allows us to almost supercharge Rebecca for close-quarters combat in which we’re running and sliding around using shotguns. A good option is the Miltech Beserk MK.5 which increases Beserk duration and crit damage while decreasing weapon recoil. It also adds some extra meat to Rebecca’s defense, meaning you can better survive punishing combat. It increases her health by 40% while increasing armor and resistance. Not to mention, it heals her every time you kill an enemy. You can purchase it from Nina the Ripper Doc in Charter Hill (29 Street Cred).
Character Points
Now, let’s talk about stats. The build we recommend spreads points fairly evenly across Body, Reflex, and Technical Ability. These are the main three attributes you want to dump points into, so assign 18 to each. Intelligence will remain almost untouched with only 3, while Cool gets 12. Any additional points you have left over you should pour into Body since this is the attribute that features the Annihilation Perk, which scales up the damage and dismemberment ability of shotguns. Let’s check out some recommended Perks for each attribute branch.
Body
Annihilation
Pump it Louder! – Reduces shotgun and LMG recoilHeavy Lead – Increases knockback of shotguns and LMGsHail of Bullets – Shotguns and LMGs do 10% more damageIn Your Face – Shotguns and LMG reload time reduced by 30%Bulldozer – Increase crit chance with shotguns and LMGs by 5%Skeet Shooter – Deal 15% more damage to moving targets with shotguns and LMGsHit the Deck – Increased damage with shotguns and LMGs to staggered enemies by 20%Unstoppable – Dismembering an enemy causes an increased fire rate of shotguns and LMGs by 10% for 8 secs (really good in combination with GUTS shotgun)Speed Demon – Deal more damage the faster you’re movingBloodrush – Increase movement speed in combat by 10% while carrying shotgun/LMG
Athletics Since Rebecca seemingly isn’t massive on fitness, we’re only investing into a few here.
Divided Attention – Allows you to reload while sprinting/slidingMultitasker – Allows you to shoot while sprinting/sliding
Reflexes
Since Rebecca uses so many different guns in Edgerunners, it’s worth investing plenty into Reflex because it offers buffs for assault rifles and pistols. The idea with this build is to try and take enemies out by getting up close, but if this isn’t possible then there’s an option to go for long range shots too. Assault
Executioner – Deal 25% more damage to enemies with rifles and LMGs when enemies have more than 50% healthFeel the Flow – Reduces reload time for rifles and LMGs by 20%Shoot, Reload, Repeat – Defeating an enemy with a rifle or LMG reduces reload time by 40% for 5 seconds
Cool
Ninjutsu
Assassin – Deal 15% more damage to human enemiesFrom the Shadows – Increases crit chance by 20% for 7 secs after first entering combat
Cold Blood
Easy Out – Increases weapon damage by 20% for enemies within 5 meters when active (great in combination with the shotgun)
Technical Ability
The perks in this branch will be all about allowing you to craft Legendary armor and upgrade your GUTS Shotgun. Consider Perks like Grease Monkey and Edgrunner Artisan to this end. Also in Technical Ability, you can also use the Engineering sub-branch to max out Tech weapon buffs, which you may or may not want to use as part of your build. If you’re interested in going down that route go for Perks like Tesla and Ubercharge. You’ll be able to actually shoot through walls with weapons associated with those upgrades including the DB-2 Satara and the Nekomata. That does it for our how to build Rebecca from Edgerunners in Cyberpunk 2077 build guide. Again, it’s not a completely exhaustive list of Perks and Cyberware options, but it should provide you with a great overview of what works best for the build style.
