Dismantling Gear in Gotham Knights
As you play Gotham Knights, you are going to be receiving both blueprints as well as ready-made gear to equip for any of the heroes in the game. Levelling up also means that old gear becomes obsolete, and can be recycled into more useful components such as Promethium and Amalgam. To do so, open up the Gear menu by pressing and holding the touchpad/menu button to access the Batcomputer menu. Next, use R1/ RB to tab over to Gear, and select either Suit, Melee, or Ranged category, followed by the piece of gear in that category that you want to dismantle. With it selected, press the left stick in (L3) to dismantle the piece of gear. You will be able to see just what components you will get out of the process, and once you confirm the second prompt, it will be dismantled and you can move on to craft better items.
